Coronavirus Guidance

The Parish Council is currently in the process of constructing a list of anyone willing to volunteer their time to help others who may be self isolating or unable to carry out daily tasks e.g. picking up prescriptions and food shopping.  Please contact Cllr Saunders in the first instance if you can assist.

We are asking residents with a range of skills, experience and resources we would hope to be able to call upon to come forward. This will ideally include any health professionals, structural and highways engineers, chainsaw/road plough operators, qualified first aiders, electricians, builders, plumbers, all-round handy persons.

PLEASE DO NOT BE SHY OR MODEST – WE REALLY NEED YOU TO COME FORWARD.

If you would like to volunteer please email Cllr Saunders on: cllrsaunders@greatrissingtonpc.org.uk
If you or someone you know is self isolating or are unable to carry out daily tasks, please call Cllr Saunders on 07510 533220.
Please click on each of the links below to view the information on Coronavirus (COVID-19) provided on each of their websites.

Neighbourhood Watch – looking after the isolated and vulnerable

During the pandemic, Great Rissington Parish Council asks that you ensure you have:

  1. Your neighbour’s phone number/ contact details. If they are elderly, please maintain regular contact if possible.
  2. A stable supply of:
    • Water and Food – You should have at least three days’ worth of food. Most supermarkets can arrange home delivery if you are self isolating.
    • Medication.
    • Hygiene products – Toilet paper, feminine products and toiletries.
    • Cleaning products – Rubbish bags, dish soap, bleach, disinfectant.
