WWI Centennial

Five perspex silhouettes representing WWI “Tommies” have been purchased by the PC with a grant from CDC. These will be added to those acquired by the Parochial Church Council to honour and remember the thirteen young men from the village who died in WWI – including the five Souls brothers – on Remembrance Sunday.

We are also pleased to report that a contingent from the Bourton branch of the Royal British Legion will be attending the 3pm memorial service at St. John the Baptist church on that day.
